5th Annual Mammoth Winter Biathlon

Winter Biathlon combines the athletic disciplines of cross country skiing and marksmanship. Try your hand at this challenging sport as seen on TV in the Winter Olympics and World Cup. .22 caliber biathlon rifles, ammunition, and Olympic grade targets will be provided. This race is designed for both the beginner and experienced biathlete. The biathlon takes place at the beautiful Upper Lakes Basin at Tamarack Lodge and Cross Country Ski Center in Mammoth Lakes, California and will start and finish at 8800 feet.

The Mammoth Concert Series presents live bands all season long like Black Lips and Ra Ra Riot on Opening Weekend, The Naked and Famous at Night of Lights as well as Handsome Furs and Soft Pack over the MLK weekend! And that's just to name a few! Previous acts have included Shiny Toy Guns, The Sounds, Santigold, La Roux, Donavon Frankenreiter and The Bravery.
